We believe every dog deserves a home-away-from-home experience that feels like a warm hug. At Portchester Paw-pad, our mission is to provide family-friendly care that prioritises safety, comfort, and the pure joy of being together.
There will never be more than 4 dogs staying at one time. This means extra care and time for your doggy.
Homemade treats for every pup.
Regular pupdates.
Pamper sessions (if they enjoy it).
Scented garden plants to get their noses working.
A pooch pool for hot days, and a log burner for chilly days.

Secure Environment
There are 6ft fences in the garden with no side-gate exit, and there are gates to section the house without closing doors.
Care First
Notes on your dog's feeding, drinking, activities and behaviour will be taken throughout their stay. If there are any concerns, we will contact you or your emergency contact.
Health Protocols
We follow hygiene and vaccination protocols to prevent illness and maintain a healthy, vibrant accommodation for all dogs.

Next...
I will meet you and your fluffy loved one for a walk. This will be your opportunity to ask any questions, and I will get to know your dog's character, commands, behaviour and more. I will bring along my goldador, Honey, to ensure our pups get along.Â

Then...
You can come and visit Portchester Paw-pad with your doggy. They will have a FREE 4 to 6 hour session. This gives them a chance to settle in, and become familiar with their surroundings. If, for any reason, they do not settle, you will be close by enough to collect them. Hopefully, this will not be the case, and when you come to collect your dog, they will know that you come back to get them. This is important before your pup stays for a longer day or period of time.

Finally...
If we are both happy for your dog to stay at Portchecter Paw-pad, you will have a form to complete about your dog before they stay again. You will need to include a photo of their vaccination record. Dogs can only stay with us if their vaccinations are up to date to keep all dogs in our care safe and healthy.
